Abercrombie Seafarer 2443 (sold)

WHY IT'S SPECIAL

This is a very rare Heuer/Abercrombie 2443 Seafarer. It is the second execution of the model. This reference is special as it has a tidal gauge and additional crown to set it on the left. The dial is original and has aging from moisture at some point. The dial is remains crisp where there is not aging though. The black chronograph and sub-dial hands are replaced. Otherwise, the watch is original. It has just been serviced and the movement is clean and in good condition not affected by the moisture. The case is a nice large 38mm and is impressive on the wrist. These rarely come up for sale and sell around $30k with a clean dial. This is a rare opportunity to acquire an important reference at a reasonable price!
